茶禪之美：華語生體驗佛教文化　台灣宗教包容性

11月9日，語文中心主任侯曉憶帶領華語組與來台的國際學生們前往佛光山，參加千人茶禪活動（2024國際書展暨蔬食博覽會）。透過茶禪儀式，學生們體驗了台灣茶文化的靜謐與優雅，許多國際學生也是第一次接觸這樣的文化場所🌿☕🧘。

佛陀紀念館內豐富的展覽、大佛的莊嚴、八座寶塔，以及無數佛教故事讓同學們印象深刻。結合之前參訪清真寺與在地寺廟民俗信仰的經驗，學生們更深刻理解台灣宗教文化的多元與包容🌍🤝✨。
這次難忘的體驗不僅讓學生們加深了對台灣文化的認識，也成為在台灣生活的美好回憶。
 

Beauty of Zen Tea: Mandarin Students Explore Buddhist Culture and the Inclusivity of Taiwanese Religions at FoGuang Shan

On November 9, our Mandarin and international students, led by Language Center Director Hou Hsiao-yi, joined the Thousand-Person Tea Meditation at Fo Guang Shan as part of the 2024 International Book and Vegetarian Expo. For many, it was a first-time experience of Taiwan’s tea culture, appreciating the calm and elegance of the ceremony in such a unique setting 🌿☕🧘.

The impressive Buddha statue, eight pagodas, and immersive exhibitions left a lasting impression, and along with prior visits to local temples and the Kaohsiung Mosque, this experience highlighted Taiwan’s incredible diversity and spirit of inclusivity 🌍🤝✨.

This memorable day offered students a deeper understanding of Taiwanese culture and will be a meaningful part of their time here. 💖🇹🇼
